VITON RUBBER

Viton rubber, known as fluoroelastomer or FKM, are highly valued for the most demanding industrial applications because it has the highest resistance to hydrocarbons, acids, alkalis and even oxidants, and its mechanical properties remain intact at temperatures up to 250ºC.

Features: • All the nitrile rubber has excellent resistance to oxygen, ozone and natural weathering. • viton compound has outstanding resistance to compression, especially at elevated temperatures. • Resistance to chemicals; among all synthetic rubbers FKM is the most resistant to many solvents and chemicals, giving long service where other materials do not. • Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, aliphatic, aromatic and chlorine chemicals. • good resistance to acids and alkalis including oxidants. Poor performance against ethers, ketones, and bases.
