UHMW - PE

UHMWPE is the ultimate choice for the bulk material equipment. Very low friction, are not easy to wear, tough, and extremely lightweight. UHMW-PE has a higher coefficient of friction of 0.25 compared to PTFE with a coefficient of friction of 0.1, but the resistance to wear of UHMW-PE is much higher than in PTFE. Assume all other factors constant, this difference results prove the application by using UHMW-PE possessed a longer service life compared to PTFE.

UHMW-PE with a density of 0.93 g / cm3 two times lighter than the specific gravity of PTFE which 1.8 g / cm3. Combined with UHMW-PE resistance to wear, compared with PTFE which is only half of PE-UHMW, will result in a longer service life and much more economical than PTFE.

UHMW-PE offers solutions for engineering applications, especially those that require excellent sliding properties combined with high wear resistance such as coating hopper, conveyor, the impact pad, the protection of the pier, where the PE-500 and PTFE can not be used.
